I recently stayed at a charming hostel in a great location with kitchen facilities. The living room and kitchen had stunning views, and the bathrooms were spotless. The staff were incredibly helpful with hiking advice, and the owner personally greeted us and gave valuable information about the city and treks. The private room and bathroom exceeded my expectations, and the overall warmth and cleanliness of the place made my stay even better. The hostel's history is fascinating, and the common areas offer excellent views. The breakfast was fresh and of high quality, making it a delightful stay overall.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The room was spacious and the bathroom was a good size. The shower was powerful and hot, and the temperature in the room was perfect. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hostel had a lovely hotel feel to the lobby and nice communal areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering useful information about the area and activities. They even reminded guests to keep their voices down after 11pm, ensuring everyone had a peaceful rest. The hostel was clean, warm, and had reasonable facilities. Additionally, the location was excellent, with easy access to the primary road in town but no noise or disruption. Parking was ample, and there were great nearby eateries such as a microbrewery and a sports bar that served delicious steak.

    No negatives.

The hostel had an amazing vibe, with a cozy and spacious atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hot showers were a great relief after a long day of hiking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was ideal, close to hiking trails. The breakfast at the nearby restaurant was delicious with eggs made to order and homemade bread. The owner provided valuable information about the city and trekking options. The private room was practical and had a fascinating history as one of the first houses in the area. The common areas offered excellent views. The staff accepted payment via PayPal when my card didn't work. The burger place across the street had tasty burgers. Despite a small kitchen, it served its purpose well. The dorm beds were decently clean. it was a great experience and I would definitely return if I come back to the area. The location was within walking distance of everything in town.

The staff was friendly and helpful during my stay, providing useful information and recommendations for my trekking adventures. The location of the hostel was also convenient, with easy access to the main attractions and hiking trails. Additionally, I appreciated the fact that they had a secure luggage storage where I could leave my belongings after checking out and use the shower before my long bus ride.

The breakfast offered was very basic and lacked variety. It consisted of only toast with ham and cheese, cornflakes with yogurt, and nothing cooked.

We had an amazing stay in this cozy hostel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the trailheads and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds and plenty of storage space. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The breakfast, although simple, was delicious with a variety of options. We also loved the communal spaces, perfect for relaxing and meeting fellow travelers.

The shared kitchen was a bit small and could use some more equipment and utensils.

Great value: Considering the affordable price, the quality of the hostel was surprisingly good. We were pleased with the cleanliness and cozy atmosphere of the place. Friendly staff: the staff members were very welcoming and helpful. They provided accurate information and were always available for a chat. We appreciated their efficiency and the way they maintained a peaceful environment for all guests. Convenient location: the hostel was conveniently located near various restaurants and shops. It was also close to the trailheads, which made it easy for us to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Lack of kitchen equipment: One downside was that the kitchen was lacking in equipment, making it difficult to cook our own meals. It would have been great to have more utensils and cookware readily available.

Great value for money, the room was comfortable and clean. The location was excellent, close to restaurants and hiking trails. The staff were friendly and provided helpful information.

The breakfast selection could be improved, perhaps by adding more variety.
